ix restart

Restart running VMs

Usage: ix restart [OPTIONS] <VMS>...

Restart running VMs.

A clean boot for the same VM identity: the equivalent of power cycling the machine.

arguments

  • <VMS> VM names from ix ls

options

  • --force <FORCE> Hard-stop the current runtime by killing its cgroup before starting it again default: false
  • --message-format <MESSAGE_FORMAT> Error format one of: human, short, json default: human
