ix vm

Inspect VMs

Usage: ix vm [OPTIONS] <COMMAND>

Inspect VMs.

ix vm <action> groups read-only VM inspection commands under the ix <resource> <action> grammar. Use ix vm describe <id> to resolve a VM to its owning compute node so you can debug it without scanning the fleet for which node hosts it.

commands

  • ix vm describe Resolve a VM to its owning compute node
  • ix vm set Change VM settings: the north-south internet on/off toggles

options

  • --message-format <MESSAGE_FORMAT> Error format one of: human, short, json default: human
